Plan Commission Members Present: Susan Jacobson, Bob Sanger, John Nyara, Mike Bark, John Ganske and Jayson Nohl

Absent Members: Lynn Divine

Public Present: None

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Chairperson Susan Jacobson after determining a quorum was present.

Verification of Posting: Jayson Nohl verified the meeting notices were posted at the Lake Shore Drive, Barksdale Town Hall and the Town Website.

Reading and Approval of meeting minutes from:  September 10, 2024. Bob Sanger motioned to dispense with reading the minutes and approve them as written, John Nyara second the motion, all were in favor, motion passed.

New Business: 

Spelling corrections: There were two misspellings in the introduction of the Comprehensive Plan Booklet. Jayson Nohl spoke with the people at Copy That of Ashland and they will make the corrections when the plan booklets are ordered and printed.

 Review of resolution recommending to the Town Board to approve an amendment to make a correction to the 2024 future land use map. There was a brief discussion on the resolution but no action was taken.

Discussion and possible action on future amendments to the 2024 future land use map. The pan commission decided to table the discussion and possible action until the March quarterly meeting.

 Bono Creek update: John Nyara reported the plan for the road into the landing is to have it paved before the end of May. It will be put out for bids in March of 2025.

Year in Review: Jayson Nohl reported the plan commission met 12 times in 2024. Review and made recommendations to the Town Board on 2 conditional use permits requests and 1 short term rental request. Most of the meeting were workshops on rewriting the Comprehensive Plan Booklet.

The plan commission set the dates for the 2025 quarterly meeting:
• March 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
• June 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
• September 8, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
• December 8, 2025at 6:00 p.m.

Other Business: 

Bono Creek: No report

Adjournment: Seeing there wasn’t any other business Bob Sanger motioned to adjourn John Nyara second the motion all were in favor motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30pm
