NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be conducted by the Town of Barksdale Plan Commission on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 29025 East Ondossagon Road, Ashland, WI, to consider proposed amendments to the Town of Barksdale Comprehensive Plan . The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed amendments.
The Town of Barksdale Comprehensive Plan Commission has requested an amendment to the future land use map of the comprehensive plan. The request asks that the future land use map be amended to change the land use designation of two parcels of land located at 31300 Engoe Road; Washburn WI.
The Town of Barksdale Comprehensive Plan Commission has requested that an amendment be made to the Agricultural Element of the Town of Barksdale Comprehensive Plan to include additional language pertaining to Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO’s).
The public may review copies of the Resolutions for the requested amendments and the Comprehensive Plan at the Town Hall by making arrangements with the Town Clerk at (715) 682-3412 or lmdivine@centurytel.net.
Interested parties may contact Lynn Divine, Town Clerk, at (715) 682-3412 or lmdivine@centurytel.net for additional information regarding the application for the request to amend the land use designation for parcels located at 31300 Engoe Road; Washburn WI.
During the Public Hearing, the public is invited to speak on the requested amendments. Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting and shall become part of the record. The Public Hearing shall be closed when all interested parties in attendance have had a chance to offer comment.
Upon the close of the Public Hearing, a meeting of the Town of Barksdale Plan Commission shall be called to order and the applications and resolutions shall be addressed per the agenda.
