NEW BUSINESS:
Public input:
John McCue asked about money being paid for land from Bayfield Wireless for the use of the land at the dump area. Board said they feel that because at the time there was no dependable internet they felt they shouldn’t charge a fee.
John Mccue said he was extremely concerned about the concrete plant and the chemicals, etc being dispersed from there and deeply affecting the health of the people living near there. He was wondering if there was some type of resolution we could make to make sure they test and keep the dust down.
Chris Bretting spoke regarding Bono Creek and said that Lynna from the DNR said that there was a pontoon raft up the creek at Bono Launch area. He also said he spoke with the DOT and there is a good possibility they could turn it over to the town. The County/DNR are finishing up the riprap and may do some road patching.
John McCue again was wondering if there was any money to purchase land to make a recreational area for kids outdoors. The board felt that very few kids would use it but it is something to maybe check into.
