Members of the Public Present: Mike Mlynarek
Call To Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pocernich at 7:00 p.m.
Verification of Posting and Publishing: Divine confirmed it was posted and sent for publication.
Approval of Previous Month’s Minutes: Bretting made a motion to dispense with reading the April 21, 2020 Minutes, seconded by Nyara. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Comprehensive Plan Update: Nothing new to report. The Commission will meet on June 8th for its quarterly meeting and to review a special use permit request.
Grant Updates: Nothing new to report.
NEW BUSINESS:
Public Input: None.
Road Foreman’s Report and Discussion of Road Inspection: Lucius indicated the work being done on Forest Road 419 was completed yesterday. He met with Mike Gustafson of the county highway department to replace a 40’ x 36” culvert on Lake Shore Drive. Four patches will be done, one on Cherryville, one on Nolander and two on Lake Shore Drive. Two loads of cold mix will be ordered to be placed on various roads. Culvert ends need to be cleaned at the intersection of Cozy Corner and Mashlan Roads. Striping will be done various roads including Range and Engoe Roads.
Clerk’s Report: Nothing new to report. 172 absentee ballots were mailed for today’s election.
Chairman’s Report: Nothing new to report.
Treasurer’s Report: A copy of the Treasurer’s Report is attached.
Next Meeting: The next meeting date is June 9th at 7:00 p.m.
Monthly Bills: Bretting made a motion to accept and approve the monthly bills as presented, seconded by Nyara. Motion carried.
Adjournment: There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
