Present: Dennis Pocernich, John Nyara; Chris Bretting, Lynn Divine; Susan Sanders
Absent: None
Other’s Present: David Lucius, Road Foreman; Jayson Nohl, Comprehensive Plan Commission
Members of the Public Present: Mike Mlynarek; Tom Sanders; Kitty Wilson
Call To Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pocernich at 7:00 p.m.
Verification of Posting and Publishing: Divine confirmed it was posted and sent for publication.
Approval of Previous Month’s Minutes: Bretting made a motion to dispense with reading the February 11, 2020 Minutes, seconded by Nyara. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
Comprehensive Plan Update: Jayson Nohl stated that the commission met on March 9th for its quarterly meeting. Cole Rabska, from the Northwest Regional Planning Commission was there to go over the Economic Overview for Bayfield County and how it relates to the Comprehensive Plan.
Grant Updates: Nothing new to report.
NEW BUSINESS:
Purchase of Grader: After much discussion comparing the John Deere grader with the Caterpillar grader, Nyara made a motion to purchse the John Deere grader, seconded by Pocernich. There were two yes votes and one no vote. Motion carried. John Nyara thanked Chris Bretting for all of the work he put into researching the two graders.
Ondossagon School Property: Nothing new to report.
Road Foreman’s Report: Lucius indicated that things are going well. Culverts seem to be draining well as the snow melts.
Clerk’s Report: Divine reminded everyone of the April 7th election.
Chairman’s Report: Nothing new to report.
Treasurer’s Report: A copy of the Treasurer’s Report is attached.
Next Meeting: The next meeting and Annual Meeting will be held on April 21st, at 7:00 p.m.
Monthly Bills: Bretting made a motion to accept and approve the monthly bills as presented, seconded by Pocernich. Motion carried.
Adjournment: There being no further business to conduct, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
