NEW BUSINESS:

Public Input: Larry Chase asked if road work has been slated for Engoe Road. The Board indicated that we are working with the Town of Washburn to have construction done on it within a couple of years. There was discussion about putting up a Rough Road sign on a portion of Cozy Corner Road.

Road Foreman’s Report: Lucius indicated that sweeping is being done. As soon as the weather warms up they will begin patching roads. Ron Pagac inquired about some parts of trees being in the road right-of-way and whether the town will be removing them. Road and culvert inspection was scheduled for May 3rd at 8:00 a.m.

Clerk’s Report: Divine reminded everyone about the May 11th election. A large percentage of the electors are voting by absentee ballot. We will follow the same social distancing and sanitizing procedures that were done for the April 7th election.

Chairman’s Report: Pocernich was approached b Mike Gustafson of the Bayfield County Highway Department regarding a bit of work that will need to be done on the round-about this year. It is anticipated that the work can get done in one day. They would like to re-route people on Cherryville Road. Terwilliger Road will be barricaded and driver’s will be routed to Torkko Road via Cherryville.
