In this project I have worked as a Researcher for Human Activity Recognition in E-Healthcare environments and wide surveillance areas. Human activity is being replicated by a robot; a camera watches this robot constantly and outputs activity recognition ID. This system has been demonstrated in three public conferences and exhibitions: (a) A*STAR Scientific Conference, 18-19 Nov 2008; (b) TechFest'08 of Institute for Infocomm Research, 20 Nov 2008; (c) SIGGRAPH Asia 2008, Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, 10-13 Dec 2008 and it has gained much popularity among the visiting spectators. I was working on this to make this system fully autonomous and take it to a commercialized level.
