👋👋👋👋Handwaves! 👋 👋👋👋 This week is New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) Week! This year is particularly special because we are celebrating 20 years of NZSL becoming an official language of Aotearoa New Zealand (joining te reo Māori and English)! Look out this week for posters around the school showing you different signs you can learn. Practice them with your friends. Any questions? Ask Christa and Hanna.
As an introduction - see if you can learn the alphabet in sign language, and spell out your name https://nzslresources.kotakureo.school.nz/nzslresources/resource_detail/66/
NZSL is the first language of some of the people in this country. Watch the first episode of this kids programme to see it in action, and learn a couple of signs yourself (then watch the rest during the week!) MOVING DAY: The Kids of Kōrero Lane - Episode One Season Two
Primary Notices:
Road Safety Week Posters - come to Hub 14 to finish them off today after the lunch moving bell!
