Hi, I'm Balaji Thoshkahna. Welcome to my homepage. I am Senior Applied Scientist in Amazon Music, SFO,USA. I work on problems related to music analysis, indexing, fraud analysis, LLMs, Generative Music etc.

I am interested in signal processing, machine learning and their applications to areas such as audio processing, image processing and biomedical signal processing. My specific areas of interest are audio coding, source separation, music information retrieval(MIR), computational auditory scene analysis(CASA), psychoacoustics, auditory displays, 3D audio, machine learning  and deep learning(a recent interest).
