Do we have Inter-Library Loan relationships?

Marion Military Institute does not participate in any formal inter-library loan agreements. If you fill-out an inter-library loan form, the librarian may be able to get a book for you. Discuss your needs with the librarian before filling out the form.

Baer Memorial Library has two major universal borrowing agreements, one with Judson College and one with a group of two-year colleges.

    1. Judson College requires you to identify yourself as a cadet. Lending rules are dictated by Judson library -- you are responsible for any fines or fees you accrue.

    2. Several of the Two-Year College Libraries participate in universal borrowing. If you plan on visiting any of these libraries, you need to request a letter from the Baer Memorial Library director. It may take two business days to get the letter to you. You will need to present this letter in order to borrow from the cooperating library. As with the Judson agreement, you are responsible for following the lending policies of the lending institution. The two-year colleges that participate in this program are:

      • Athens State University

      • Calhoun State Community College

      • Enterprise-Ozark Community College

      • Faulkner State Community College

      • Lurleen B. Wallace Community College

      • Marion Military Institute

      • Shelton State Community College
