AZADEH NILCHIANI

I would like to welcome you to my personal web page, where you can view a selection of my artworks including installation, sound art, video art, music and also an insight into my research. I'm an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and university lecturer, born in Tehran and based in Paris. Currently postdoctoral researcher for RAMHO project (Musical and Acoustics Research in France: An Oral History) at Ircam. From 2024 to 2026, I was a postdoctoral researcher on the DEM'ARTS project, "Création, démocratie et numérique", at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.postdoctoral researcher on the DEM'ARTS project, "Création, démocratie et numérique", at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Since 2014, I worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Paris Est, Department of Arts, then as a Temporary research and teaching assistant at The University of Lille, Department of Arts and currently as a lecturer at the École des Arts de la Sorbonne.Being interested and working in visual arts and sound arts during the past 20 years, my art work is based on the relationship between sound and visual space, using digital media, installation, video and electroacoustic music.
