Teaching
My teaching experiences over the years have convinced me that college students respond best to academic challenges and personal respect. I strive to provide an environment in which students feel comfortable questioning and applying new concepts. Recognizing that not all students enter a given class with the same knowledge background, I have come to understand the need to be approachable to students with different skills and learning styles. This attitude encourages me to learn different approaches to teach the same concepts.
