Dr. Seidu is an Associate Professor of Applied & Agricultural Economics here at Stanislaus State. He joined Stanislaus State in August 2016, after completing his Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville. In addition to his Ph.D. degree, Dr. Seidu has two Master of Art degrees from Ohio University, Athens, in Economics and International Studies. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree, in Economics, from the University of Ghana. Here at CSU Stanislaus, Dr. Seidu teaches courses in both the Economics and Agriculture programs. His research focuses on farm labor dynamics, migration, remittances, and consumer demand analysis. Recent work has focused on the impact of international migration and remittances on off-farm labor allocation decisions, and food consumption patterns of rural farm households in developing countries. Some of his research works have appeared in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
