Welcome to the website of the Purdue Chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics
The Association for Women in Mathematics student Chapter at Purdue was founded in the fall of 2011. Our purpose is to encourage women and girls to develop their mathematical skills and to support women who are currently pursuing careers in mathematics. We hold informal chats, social gatherings and dinners with guest speakers, run a mentoring program and organize a Basic Skills workshop to build a network among the women in mathematics.
