ubmit answers to math problems posted weekly for your chance to win a $25 movie gift card! A problem will be posted in front of the math department office every Friday and in the SIAM and AWM chapter websites. You will have a week to submit an answer either by leaving it in Marilyn Vazquez’s mail box in the math department office or by emailing it to rargus AT masonlive DOT gmu DOT edu. When you submit a correct answer, you will be entered in a raffle at the end of the month, and all participants will be welcome at a pizza party at the end of the month. All GMU students are welcome to participate! This event is sponsored by our SIAM and AWM chapters!Problems:
October 2nd: Problem #1
October 9th: Problem #2
October 16th: Problem #3
October 23rd: Problem #4
October 30th: Problem #5
November 6th: Problem #6
November 13th: Problem #7
Remember to include your name and G number on your submission to know who to award! Also, keep in mind that if you are turning in a hard copy to the mailbox, the office closes at 5pm.
