Responsibilities for Head Room Parents will vary by class but could include:

Helping with class roster
Collecting funds for class gifts for teacher
Communicating on behalf of teachers requests
Helping teachers get volunteers for different opportunities

General meetings

March 3rd @ 7pm

All meetings are held at Avon East cafeteria.

2026-2027 Volunteer Opportunities:

Fall Fundraiser: ELC Fun Run (October 15)/East Color Run (October 16)

Students will collect pledges and participate in a Fun Run/Color Run during school hours. We are excited to partner with Boosterthon on this NEW event. For more information, sponsorship opportuntities and donations please email aelc.east.boostersfundraising@gmail.com.

Fall Event: Trunk or Treat (October 25, 2026)

Every class will be responsible for hosting a trunk for this "Trunk or Treat" event. Parents who sign up to help with this event will come up with the theme of the trunk, the candy/games/handout, and the people to help volunteer at the event and volunteer to put the trunk together. There are unlimited volunteers allowed to help with this event in each classroom.

Winter Fundraiser: Music Bingo (January 8, 2027)

This NEW, fun parents night out is to celebrate all that we do as a community. This fundraiser will help provide programs for our students, fill teacher requests and so much more! Let's come together for music, food, fun and PRIZES! We are looking for business sponsorships & donations (baskets, gift cards, experiences) to make this event a success!
