Avon East puts on a fantastic year-long program called SOAR. The purpose of the program is to focus on one of the SOAR principles each month and do activities and lessons to support those themes. The PTA has partnered with the school to provide volunteers, SOAR Coaches, to carry out the lessons each month. These lessons will fall on Pride Days this year.
The volunteer time commitment is doing the prep work for the lesson and then teaching the lesson once a month for about an hour. The lessons are created by the school.

1. Join the PTA. Only active, paid members of the PTA are eligible to be SOAR Coaches
2. Fill out Membership Form and select which position you would have interest in supporting. Pay Dues here.
3. SOAR Coaches will be selected and notified before October PTA Meeting. Attendance at the October PTA Meeting is mandatory for all new SOAR Coaches
