Quest School
We were very fortunate to be able to train at Quest School for a period of 2 weeks. Only once before (At Vista Nova School in Cape Town), have I witnessed such love, dedication and commitment. The teachers, staff and therapists at Quest dedicate themselves entirely to helping and teaching the learners in their care. They are tireless, and their patience endless.

Carel Du Toit Centre East London
The Carel Du Toit Centre have been an endless source of support and advice to us. They work with children who are hearing impaired and speech delayed, and we have found that their techniques for developing speech in children are often helpful to Autistic children too.

This school has a number of children with Higher Functioning Autism in their Partial Hearing Department. They offer smaller classes, caring teachers and individual teaching and attention in a small class and quiet environment. The school has the services of a Speech Therapist from our local state hospital, Frere Hospital on their Outreach Program. The school also has a retired Speech Therapist that works with selected children two days every week as well as a councilor that works with children with behavior and emotional problems once a week.
