Aurellia Acoustic Bass Q.W.E.R.T.Y.
Listen to a demo
This custom acustic bass guitar is a bearer of several innovations. The most significant one is the construction with a concave back. It allows for a better proximitiy of the player with the strings. Additionally, it enhances the sound as it can be heard from the demo record. The same aesthetic style is maintained all over the guitar. One of my most successfull instruments! Awaiting to listen to it in acoustic gigs.
Aurellia Arrow V
I had the honour to build a new custom copy of my model Aurellia Prima. The guitar became very stylish with such a nice sound that I hardly parted with it. I used the following materials for its construction:
Mahogany back and sides
Spruce top
Mahogany, Afrika teak and maple for the laminated neck
Africa teak for the bridge and fretboard
Electric Violin "Ema"
"Ema" is the first violin I ever crafted myself. The process of elaborating it was a great pleasure. I am very thankful to the violinist Eli and all guys from the band KriGGret for the order and for the collaboration during refinement of the violin. The result is that we achieved together an exclusively good and aesthetic instrument.
Here is what the possessor Eli thinks:
"Emilian is a person who likes to elaborate details. The violin he made for me is a real piece of art with a wonderful design and fine crafting.
The sound is just like a genuine acoustic violin.
Emilian is an easy-going person to work with. He is always ready to amend every little thing, which you would dislike in an instrument, and to fiddle it to perfection."
Aurellia Mustaine Double
Aurellia Mustaine Double is named after Dave Mustaine from Megadeth. Although having an aggressive style, the guitar is white in color to symbolize good temper. It was custom-made for a famous Bulgarian Glam Rock band. The upper part is 12-string, and the lower one is solo. The guitar is entirely handmade!

Spruce for the top
Pear tree for back and sides
Maple for the neck

ESP Alexi Laiho
A replica of the furious Leslie Layho ESP arrow guitar with scythe fingerboard inlays.
Aurellia Prima
This was my first dare step in luthiery. After I had revived several broken guitars I made up my mind that I was skillful enough to construct my own guitar and started working on Aurellia Prima. It was pretty difficult because at the same time I had to build up instruments to work with. Additionally, when I started I didn't know the method to bend the sides of the guitar. Another "impossible" thing for me was to cut the massive wood log to 3mm-thin slices. This procedure would be classified as impossible by many furniture makers even nowadays.
Aurellia Bass - V
The reason to get down to constructing Aurellia - V was the mutual desire of the band I played with to perform an acoustic version of our repertoire. I borrowed a certain part of the construction from the plans of Antonio De Torres Juardo, who, apart from being a renowned Spanish 6- and 11-string guitar maker, was also dealing with converting famous classical music pieces and concerts for guitar.
Aurellia - V is interesting because she has 5 strings, her body is deeper than the usual acoustic bass guitar body depth, accordingly enhancing the deepness of the sound. Additionally, her top delineates an alongside-bent quasi-plane, i.e. a convex arc, parallel to the bridge, and orthogonal to the strings.
In the resonating box there is a microphone to lead the sound out during rehearsals and gigs.
Serenade by Novax Guitars
I accidentally came upon this guitar when looking at various guitar makers' sites. What is specific about this brand of instruments is that the frets of the guitars are not parallel, but they split from
each-other like beams (the so called fanned fretboard). Nevertheless, they sound correct for the proportion rule between the string length and the fret distances is adhered to. Then I learned that the guitar player Charlie Hunter had а guitar of same make. He plays a 8-string Novax. Three of the strings are bass, and the rest five are solo.
The outlook of the concept model "Serenade" applied to me very much: The combination of sharp and rounded outlines together with the elegant and untypical beam-like situation of the frets, bridge, and nut inspired me to make a copy of this instrument for myself.
Aurellia Classic-6 is a luxury classic guitar, symbolizing the number 6. It was worked out with the idea that profound and inspired music will be played on it. It has dark colors and it suggests seriousness and an attitude of respect towards the ancient professionals both in playing and in luthierie. The stylish ornamentation with encrustments of mother-of-pearl and colorful veneer - serves the purpose to express order and a high culture of life. The owner of this instrument should be a person with a positive attitude towards life, stable in his/her mind, and a striving to perfection musician who intoxicates the audience and shows them a beautiful world of harmonies and landscapes of soaring and warm feelings. Aurellia Classic-6 has the traits of the Baroque precision in elaboration, as well as those of innovation, regarding the design. It is indicative for the succession of the crystallized good and inspiration of the past into the present: a unique instrument, to which its owner will be devoted, and every touch to it is going to bring delight.
Constructed of the following materials:

Musical spruce top
3-layer laminated dark mahogany and cherry-tree neck
Auzak brige and fretboard
Aurellia Prima Vista - 7
On the 2005 New Year's eve a best friend of mine called Kiril Tsanevski, who is a violin player in a German orchestra, asked me to build a small metal-string guitar for him. Soon after that he left for Germany. In seven months when he came back I had already made his guitar which I called Aurellia Prima Vista - 7. 7 is the successive number of manufacturing. Prima Vista carries an ambiguous meaning: the first cue is that Kiril can sometimes play pieces on the violin prima vista, and the second is that he actually hadn't seen the guitar that he ordered before. He liked her much, though, and "fell in love" with her being at the same time also in love with the violin Maria.
Constructed of the following materials:
Massive maple bottom and sides
Musical spruce top
3-layer maple neck
Wenge brige and fretboard
Aurellia Universe by Ibanez
“That girl” is the name of the custom electric guitar I constructed for Martin Ivanov (completed on 24 Feb 2006). I can honestly say that she became one of my best guitars ever since. Her main functional advantages are the number of positions (26), as well as the neck which is handy for fast playing.
The form has been borrowed from “Ibanez” (JEM777 and Universe), but the ArsNova Studio, where the body and the neck were painted, has a special contribution for the aesthetics of “That girl”.
