School Day Friday April 19, 2024

Veterans get in Free

Participant early setup on April 18th  for the reenactment: There will be a camp area, open to the public, and then stations where reenactors will discuss different aspects of being a soldier during different points of. the war.  We are also looking at having a 'recruiting area' for kids, where they would learn some basic drill - standing at attention, marching, etc.  We have invited some of the other side (Germans) to join us, so that some of their perspective can be shared too.  There will be public "battles" on Friday and Saturday to demonstrate some of the different skills and tactics used, and just how difficult combat could be for the soldiers. School Day April 19th.

All types of military equipment, supplies, vehicles to include tracked vehicles are welcome. AuGlaize Village is a wonderful area to hold an event like this reenactment.
