Sunday Workshop
The Auckland Bonsai Society meets twice a month. We have an evening gathering on the 2ND THURSDAY of the month, and a weekend workshop on the 2ND SUNDAY of the month. Read on for more information about our Sunday Workshops.
SUNDAY WORKSHOP
The Sunday Workshop is oriented towards more of a hands-on learning environment, and provides a valuable resource for people unable to make it to the Thursday night meeting. It is a relaxed atmosphere where people can quietly work on their trees under the guidance of more experienced artists. Workshops are a great place to bring in a tree/s, get down and dirty, and spend some quality time together (.....with your trees of course). They are a great place to bounce ideas, techniques and problems off other members who might have gone through the same situation with their own collection. They are also a perfect time to work on some of your trees if you lead a busy work / home / social life and it's the only time that you have.
Where: All Saints Birkenhead Scout Group, 3 Recreation drive, Birkenhead, North Shore
When: SECOND SUNDAY of the month from 9am till midday (Note that sometimes the workshop comes before club night... ). See our Events page for any specific details about each workshop.
Bring: A couple of trees to work on and your tools / wire etc. And perhaps a spot of morning tea too!
