Workshop Location and Travelling within the City
The workshop will take place in Swanston Academic Building (Bld. #80) at 445 Swanston Street, Melbourne. It is located on the edge of the CBD area and therefore within walking distance from hotels located centrally in the CBD area. A convenient way to travel in the city is using trams. If you are travelling within the city, trams are free. To check whether you are travelling within the free tram zone, please see here. There is a tram stop (Stop #7, RMIT) just outside of Swanston Academic Building, however, it is outside the free tram zone. If you are travelling from a free tram zone, you can instead get off at Melbourne Central Station (one stop earlier) and walk instead. For any trip outside the free tram zone, you need a myki card. You can use your myki card for trains and busess as well. Further information for travelling within Melbourne and myki card can be found here and here.
