The Australasian Trade Workshop is an annual conference of trade economists in Australasia and it is jointly organised by Frank Stähler and Martin Richardson. Each year, it takes place in a different university in the region. It has its origins in the Otago Workshop in International Trade, a trade conference Frank Stähler organised at the University of Otago in New Zealand from 2006 to 2009. It moved to Australia under its current name in 2010. It has since been held at the ANU, the University of Adelaide (twice), the University of New South Wales, the University of Melbourne, Curtin University-Perth, the University of Sydney, the Queensland University of Technology and the University of Auckland. In 2019, it will take place at RMIT University. Further information about this workshop can be found on ANU's Australasian Trade Workshop webpage.
