Ballachuan Survey Results - November 2010

Bob Black, Argyll Woodlanders has revisited a small plot that he established in 1994 at the SWT Reserve, Ballachuan Hazelwood. Individual stems on hazel stools were measured. This allows us to form an impression as to whether the hazel stools are thriving or not, although the small size of the sample obviously limits the scope to draw firm conclusions.
