SWAG Setup
SWAG aims to map the inner ~3x0.7 degrees of our Milky Way and to capture most of the molecular emission in the Central Molecular Zone. This will be achieved by ~6500 individual pointings with the Australia Telescope Compact Array with integration times of ~4min per pointing.
The frequency ranges are: 21,200 - 23,200 MHz & 23,600 - 25,600 MHz
and we set up high spectral resolution "zoom" modes to cover the following 42 spectral lines:
