Over the years my approach has gradually developed into a relational supportive style of counselling, helping my clients to work out some of life's issues and help them to develop their self awareness.
Originally trained in psychodynamic counselling I went on to explore other types of therapy and attained a diploma in Integrative counselling. As an integrative counsellor i am able to use different techniques to meet my clients different needs. This could be psychodynamic, person centred, solution focused or cognitive behavioural therapy.
Having worked for drug and alcohol services and a mental health organisation I have been able to increase my knowledge of different types of day to day struggles.
In my own private practice I have used this knowledge and experience to develop my own relational style, which I am proud to say is helping to support my clients on a regular basis.
On the review page you can read some of my clients experiences and their feedback, which may help you decide if my approach sounds like it might suit you.
