Welcome to my homepage.
I am a Research Professor at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Hanyang University, Republic of Korea, where I work with Prof. Do Hwan Kim in the Frontier Optoelectronic Nanomaterials & Devices Laboratory (FOND Lab). My research focuses on semiconductor device fabrication, advanced process technologies, and emerging optoelectronic and neuromorphic device platforms.
I earned my Ph.D. from the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India under the supervision of Prof. Chinmay K. Maiti. My doctoral research centered on the fabrication, characterization, and optimization of thin-film Photovoltaic devices. Prior to that, I obtained an M.Tech in Solid State Technology from IIT Kharagpur, and earlier completed a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics followed by a B.Tech in Radiophysics & Electronics from the University of Calcutta, India.
Over the years, I have worked extensively on synaptic and ion-gel-gated transistors, gas sensors, graphene-based electronics, heterojunction devices, thin-film solar cells, photodetectors, and wearable/stretchable electronic systems. My current work is expanding toward neuromorphic and bio-inspired electronics, including adaptive low-power sensory devices and perception-oriented sensing platforms.
If you are interested in collaborating on semiconductor device development, device simulation, or machine-learning approaches for sensor and device analysis, please feel free to contact me.
