The Annual ASME Mechanisms and Robotics Conference
Purpose:
The award is to be given for a cumulative contribution to the fundamental theory, design and applications of mechanisms and robotic systems. Continued distinction is to be a primary requisite
Awards:
The DED Mechanisms and Robotics Award consists of a certificate and a cash prize of $1500.
Notes:
One nomination is in the queue. Nominations may be submitted at any time to the M&R Honors and Awards Subcommittee Chair, but due by April 1 each year. Instructions for preparing a nomination packet can be found at the M&R Committee Website under the Awards link.
New rules for forming the M&R Award Committee have been proposed for consideration by the M&R Committee.
The award winner(s) will receive the cash award (provided by award sponsors) and a plaque (provided by ASME).
