Ashraf Yaseen is as an Associate Professor of Data Science at the Department of Biostatistics & Data Science, School of Public Health, UTHealth. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) from 2014 to 2017, Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Central State University in Ohio from 2013 to 2014, and as a Lecturer of Computer Information Systems at Jordan University of Science and Technology from 2003 to 2007.

Research Interests: Data Management and Analysis, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, and High Performance Computing.

Teaching: Data Analytics & Predictions, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Database Systems & Applications, Operating Systems, and Programming (Python, R, C++, C, Visual Basic).
