I am a Research Assistant Professor at Northwestern University in the Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am a member of the Bilingualism and Psycholinguistics Research Laboratory with Dr. Viorica Marian. In the new year, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada!

I completed my PhD in the Lifespan Cognition and Development Lab at York University with Dr. Ellen Bialystok. For my dissertation, I combined mouse-tracking and eye-tracking to uncover potential differences between monolinguals and bilinguals when presented with conflicting nonverbal information. The combined data allowed us to investigate differences between language groups in the allocation of resources, qualitative patterns in eye movements, and strategies deployed to resolve conflict.
