August 2024 Update

Hi neighbors, 

My name is Jennifer. The previous HOA President has moved away and I'm in the process of cleaning up this site and updating payment information. 

At this point, I believe that the Payments & Accounting page is up to date with all of the dues paid. If you've made payments that are not reflected in the HOA Accounting spreadsheet, please send an email to ashlandparkhoaor@gmail.com with the details of the missing payment (date, screenshots, etc), so I can look for the payment in our bank statements & and update the HOA Accounting accordingly.

Quite a few lots are behind on dues. I don't believe that any statements have been sent out since 2020. I'm not going to apply any interest on amounts from 2021-23, since no bills or reminders were sent. However, for lots with a balance from 2020 or prior, the 2021 amount due reflects a 12% interest charge from the previous year's balance. 12% is the rate indicated in the HOA Declarations, Article V, Section 9. Please note that the amounts due on the HOA Accounting spreadsheet for each year are cumulative. If you have an outstanding balance, you only need to pay the amount shown in the 2024 column. (I switched the order of the columns so the most current is first for easier viewing). If you owe $100, you can use pay via Paypal with the 2 Year Combined Assessment  link (charge will be $103.30 due to Paypal fees). Or, if you owe $200, you can use the same link & just submit 2 payments. I plan to look into updating the PayPal payment options (the current payment amounts don't quite cover the current PayPal fees) and adding an option to pay larger amounts via PayPal, but for now, if you owe over $200, the best option is to drop off a check at Unitus as indicated on the Payments & Accounting page. 

I plan to get invoices out to the owners with outstanding dues soon, but if you can make your payments before then and save me the extra work, that would be greatly appreciated. 

In an effort to clean up the HOA site, previous Announcements have been archived under the "HOA Announcements" folder at:  Archives and named by date  posted.  Previous announcements were all from 2013-2021; there were no recent announcements.

I'd like to open up communication among our HOA members, rather than just one-way communications coming from myself. When the HOA was established, there were a number of HOA member volunteers, regular meetings, voting, etc.  I don't know if anyone wants to open up their homes for in person meetings, but hopefully we can at least get some online discussions going? For example, I'm aware that the common area in the front of the HOA is in much need of clean-up, but I could really use some recommendations or help arranging volunteers and quotes. I'd love to get feedback from all of you. I've lived at Ashland Park for over 18 years now, but being the introvert that I am, I don't feel like I know nearly as many of you as I should. I look forward to getting to know you all better.
