Rocky Mountain ASB - Presenter Information

Podium presentations should last 8 minutes or less, plus 2 minutes for questions (for a maximum of 10 min total). Please practice your presentation to make sure it satisfies these time limits.
Please refer to your abstract notification email or the meeting program (coming soon!) to identify your session.
Presentations must be in PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) or Portable Document Format (.pdf).
Embed graphics or video clips in your presentation.
Please bring your laptop to present or bring your presentation on a USB drive for uploading before your session.
During your presentation, you will stand at a podium and speak into a microphone, so you will not be able to walk around and physically point to the projector screen--instead you can point using the laser pointer built into PowerPoint (or a pdf viewer).

Lightning talks should last 3 minutes or less, and intended to introduce the study presented on your poster. Please practice your talk to make sure it satisfies these time limits. All questions will be held until the poster session following the lightning talks.
Use your talk to introduce the audience to what is presented on your poster but do not project your full poster on a single slide.

Follow the guidelines below for your poster presentation.

The maximum size is 40” x 60” and should be in landscape orientation.
It is recommended that you use more images than text and that these are high resolution and in a color-blind accessible palette.
Aim for your poster to be readable from 1-2 meters away. (Font size recommendations: Titles 72-100pt, Headers 36-48pt, Body 24-32pt)
Your poster will be on display during one of the two poster sessions. Please refer to your abstract notification email or the meeting program (coming soon!) to identify your poster session.
Mount your poster at the assigned (numbered) board listed in the meeting program (coming soon!). For Session 1, mount your poster before 5pm and remove by 8pm Friday 4/17. For Session 2, mount your poster before 8am and remove by 1pm Saturday 4/18.
