Supervisor of several post-doctoral fellows (9 finished and 7 running), PhD (25 finished and 7 in running) and MSc (32 finished and 2 running) students, and also of research fellows "Bolsas de Iniciação à Investigação Científica" and laboratory technician fellow ("Bolsas de Técnico de Laboratório").

Pedagogic and scientific supervisor of the scientific-pedagogical internships of students of the BSc degree in Chemistry and Physics for Teaching.

Taught various disciplines of MSc courses in the area of Organic Chemistry and Natural Products (Synthesis of Natural Products, Medicinal Chemistry, Synthesis of Biocides, Food Additives, and Wood Chemistry) and in the area of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy.

Supervisor of professional internships of students in the 5th year of the BSc degree in Chemistry.

Supervisor of the Seminar and Project disciplines of a great number of students in the 4th year of the BSc degree in Chemistry and also Scientific-pedagogical seminars of the 5th year of the BSc degree in Chemistry and Physics for Teaching at the University of Aveiro.

Taught several disciplines in the Organic Chemistry area at the BSc level (theoretical, practical and theoretical-practical components).

1987: Collaborated in the practical lessons of Organic Chemistry in the training course of Technical Chemical Analysis, held at the University of Aveiro with the support of the European Social Support.

1987: Taught practical lessons of General Chemistry in the training course of Technical Glass Blowers, secondary school level, held at the University of Aveiro with the support of the European Social Support.

21/09/1987 - 02/11/1987: Taught Agricultural Chemistry to 10th year of the secondary school.

1986-87 and 21/09/1987 - 02/11/1987: Taught Chemistry and Physics to 8th and 9th years of the secondary school.
