CVUSD Efforts
The Castro Valley Unified School District is leading new efforts to enliven and support arts education for all students in our schools. A team of school officials, parents, artists and teachers are working together to address the needs and create future plans for arts education today. A project of the Arts In School Committee this website is our first step in efforts in supporting arts education throughout the Castro Valley California Unified School District. The website provides information and resources for teachers to create their own arts lesson plans to meet the California State Board of Education standards in the arts. It provides information for parents and community to engage with the arts in their schools and provides links to additional arts opportunities and research in arts education. We encourage you to use the website and to participate in the arts in your school.
