Mission to Mars| The Point of No Return
INTRODUCTION
I’ve been a star gazer all my life . I respect and admire our solar system . At an elementary school level, I started to witness just similar star systems. Like the big and little dipper. I read the astronomers guide on single and multiple star systems such as Polaris(north star) Pegasus and Beetlegues. I then went on to gaze upon shining systems, such as Orion, Meteors and Falling Stars as I matured through life and gained some knowledge from astronomy , other more complex systems in the sky appeared to my naked eye. I also satistfied my appetite for the cosmos with a small lesson in astrology. I often wondered who my compatible signs were or was I as compatible as it seemed to me and to other socialites. I feel as if our post baby-boomer generation is in a loss for words because there’s no astrological trend. There’s no “Leo”, no Gemini and no Super-Aquarius awareness, just us late boomers with no politics and a very earth-evergreen consciousness. It’s 2017 and 89% of our city’s pollution has been removed. There’s and e-signature on just about every emerging market in our economy. The same impressive characteristics that help shape and mold humanity as a whole also envision tactical efforts for our future. Despite the fact that our political-social system has fallen and our governing power is not as mighty as “Woodstock,” we have clear view on our earth’s degradation and the dying human factor. President Obama strengthen our hope with 3 terms of honesty about green-health and preparation, not a bad penetrating thought for the inhabitants of earth to absorb. Aside from all the unethical cleansing in our population, we have a concise and courageous vision of the future of humanity.
I have journeyed in my star-gazing and have taken up celestial maps and star guides to navigate my education on matter and life in our universe. I use my naked eye to behold wonders in the sky that I have never seen before. I see bodies of stars, clusters, Pleiades, Nebulae and Stardust. Bright stars and dim stars, constellations and planets. I saw a comet, who’s tale was as long as the circumference to the sun. Also a meteor shower parading across the earth’s outer orbit that caused every inhabitant of earth to stop and stare.
In 1993 three meteors shot across our solar system and collided in the gassy surface of Jupiter and ignited a cosmic spectrum of Sulfer, hydrogen gas and dust. The meteors exploded on impact and everyone on earth could view the dust cloud with the naked eye. It was as if Jupiter gave birth to a burning Gemini , a festival and dance of magnet rocks and colored-rays. In early 1992 before the collision , the constellation; Leo, planet Jupiter and bright star Regullus aligned in the sky. Astronomers called it: “The Lion, the Witch and the Wordrobe.”
We are finally journeying onto the 22st century and have made strategic plans to colonized our own planet system. We made universal headlines when the spaceship Colombia landed its big rockets with wheels like and air-plane upon returning to earth’s surface. And we can be proud that our Lunar explorations are now complete. The Space exploration industry has made a commitment to frontier our solar system.
LIFE EXPECTANCY ON MARS
Speaking in the superlative, the science of exploration has officially been superseded by Americans. Our scientist have labored feverishly to obtain a bounty of scientific data to complete the mission to Mars. After 1993 more intense orbital excursions followed. The Space Hubble Telescope, launched in 1990, photographed millions of images and raw footage of our inner planetary system. Venus and Mars stayed the primary focus during the early U.S missions. In 1977 Voyager, Galileo in 1989 and recently Cassini in the year 2005! These unmanned travels surveyed moons, stars and planet surfaces to gain knowledge of terrestrial habitation. Satellite surveillance and computerized data monitored large storm systems, existing in our galaxy. It metered and photographed over 6,720 gigabytes of cosmological scientific data a year via Hubble Telescope(HST).
NASA’s Goddard Flight Center lists a total of 2,271 satellites in earth’s orbit. Hubble’s has metered comets, meteors and other Skylab. Multi-billion dollar companies manufacture and launched over 2,000 satellites, launched solar-powered modules and wireless unmanned vehicles into space. All scientific data is loaded onto a network interface from the Space Telescope Operations & Control Center.
Mars colony-exhibition began in 2000 when Pathfinder was launched to do geographical land surveying and Martian technology extraction. Then in 2003 the Rover was launched onto the surface of Mars. It was found that the atmosphere on Mars was compatible with human life. Thereafter many future missions were scheduled and completed within a 2 to 3 year time-frame. Those 2 to 3 years travel may have seemed like centuries to all the many people who have waited for the answers of life and the answer to the existence of life on other planets.
CO2 + H2O → CH2O + O2
Breathing is a necessity of life. On Earth, all creatures must do this in order to survive. The Dionaea Muscipulaisa(venus flytrap) is a carnivorous plant that opens it’s clawed needle-sharp pedal-trap to capture and swallow eight-legged creatures. It’s physiology contains chlorophyll and oxygen, two of the compounds needed for the production of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the scientific term for the elements of life. Oxygen is the basis of production of life on earth.
Fish have been on the planet for 500 million years³. They breath underwater and consume billions of electrons and molecules to move, swim and grow. CO2 + H2O → CH2O + O2 is the molecular compound formula for success and life for 98% of our animal kingdom on earth. Oxygen and water is stockpiled in the DNA of the smallest creature to the largest human. It’s necessity and abundance is endless here on our planet. Scientist have boldly sought after the existential molecular-compounds of the universe to ingeniously sift out terrestrial habitation that is compatible with our ecosystem. There’s billions of data and facts that mobilize our species onto extraterrestrial platforms. This data increases human capacity and upgrades civilization.
THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT
Some Mars enthusiasts are captured with the beauty of plants. Botanists have sought to preserve species of plants and curate breathable gases for both human and plant life. Our earth’s rain forests turnover 28% of the world’s oxygen. More than half of the world’s species of plants and animals are found in rainforest4 .The sun is also a wealthy source of life on earth. Also the people on the planet contribute a valuable source of life. There is an appreciation gap between scientists and Mars enthusiasts.., How does one give credit to the many different faces of technology? Enthusiasts express in the local news what human identity in our society’s accountability. There’s a big poll on ethics and reinnovating basic standards. Scientists seem to ingeniously assage the public minds with mystery about the reality of outer-space. Botanist still have a small voice on the answers to the physiology our eco-system. All in one, botanists, scientists and the mars community share beliefs for the multitudes! Beliefs are a precious commodity for the transcendental interstellar world!
MARS LAUNCH SERIES
The estimated costs of the Mars One Project totaled up to 6 billion dollars. Mars One was founded in 2011 in the Netherlands.* The purpose of the mission is to establish a permanent Mars settlement using man-made habitats. Curiosity is the Mars Rover used for the mission . As a port of NASA's Science Laboratory ,the Rover was used to explore and survey the surface of Mars. From 2011 to 2013 100 applicants were selected to volunteer their life, train and apply to be selected as one of the 24 finalist approved for Mars One. The finalist will be rewarded with employment at the Mars One Corporation and also permanent settlement on Mars. The estimated departure for the mission is June 2025 with a crew of 4. The estimated return date is 00-00-0000! The purpose of this mission is to go to another planet and stay! Space X Corporation has manufactured and launched rockets, terrestrial vehicles and unmanned aerials for the frontier and colonization process. Among some of the machines proposed; The Mars Terrestrial Vehicle and Habitat System, The Space X Dragon Terrestrial Vehicle, and launch rocket Falcon 9!
