This research project on Will Cagle has been on the shelves here at ARRA headquarters for a number of years.  It was Will and wife Barbara's intention to write and publish a book on Will's career and from what we understand, it is still in the works and hopefully, it will eventually become a reality.  Many years ago, ARRA President Fred Voorhees, while sitting down with Will for an informal talk, informed Will that he was working on a listing of his career wins.  Will, at that time,  told ARRA that there was a book in progress about his career, that they were putting together the facts, and were going to be looking for someone to put it all together as a publication.  In honor of Will's wishes, Fred told Will that he would hold off on publishing the win list so that it could be debuted in his book and would be a great selling point.  Will has passed away and still no book.   ARRA has decided to move on with the project.  

These files represent the work of a number of ARRA's historians.  We have scoured the internet and all of our publications in the hopes of capturing every win that we could of Candler "Will" Cagle's career.  There is no doubt that there may be some wins in Florida, Will's home state, that we have not included in this project.  It was simply because as early as his career started, records back then were not as completely  reported.  We hope that in the future. the Will Cagle book will be published.  Will and Barbara supposedly kept meticulous records of Will's wins.  It is ARRA's hope that the book will be published and therefore, we could quite possibly add to these files and gain a more comprehensive and accurate record of Will Cagle's career stats.  Either that or we hope that in the event that the book is never published, we may get a copy of the Cagle's notes so that we could add them.  That being said, we welcome any and all communications about any win statistics on Will Cagle's career that is not contained in our files.  We will do our best to confirm the addition and if verified...will add it to our files.
