Dr. Bindiya Arora is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Coordinator of the Center for Quantum and Materials Science at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India. She earned her PhD in Physics from the University of Delaware and was a University Gold Medalist for both her Master's and Bachelor's degrees at Panjab University. Her research specializes in theoretical atomic physics and quantum foundations, with a focus on high-precision calculations, atomic and optical frequency standards, and quantum information processing using Rydberg atoms. A former PSI Fellow at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and an Adjunct faculty at the Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Waterloo, Canada,  Dr. Arora has authored around 70 peer-reviewed papers and is deeply committed to science education and community outreach, notably as the founder and president of PRAYAS, an association dedicated to the regional advancement of sciences.
