SciRox is a very fruitful initiative taken by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). SciRox is a student-run club with a purpose to promote various scientific activities among students. In a bid to make science popular, SciRox is constantly working to keep the scientific spirits alive by organizing a number of activities for students under the mentorship of Dr. Bindiya Arora (Department of Physics, GNDU) and Dr. Venus Singh Mithu (Department of Chemistry, GNDU). For the session 2022-23 Prof. Jatinder Kaur from the department of Botanical and Environmental sciences has taken the charge as SciRox convener. The club aims to develop scientific temperament, increase collaboration among students and provide a common platform for students’ interaction. Students from different departments collaborate for learning and growing together. It aims to promote science among the students of GND University Main campus, colleges affiliated to GND University, other colleges of the region and students of the schools affiliated to PSEB, CBSE and ICSE situated in Punjab region.
