iPad Specifics

Most of the app behavior and operations described for the iPhone are very similar on iPad. However, there are some crucial differences. First of all, the iPad version features a split window showing calculator and graph views simultaneously in the landscape orientation:

and graph alone in the portrait orientation:

In portrait, pressing the "Calculator" button in the lower left corner brings the calculator view:

Single tap anywhere in the graph area dismisses the calculator view. Second, help view does not take the whole screen, but appears in an autonomous window for user's convenience:

Help window can be dismissed by pressing the "X" button in the lower left corner of the help table. Functions of both calculator and graph are maintained while help is displayed. This makes the learning process a bit easier. The help window can be moved anywhere in the graph area to obstruct the view as little as possible. Please try it now: grab the help window with TWO fingers and move it in a desired direction:

Single finger pan is for scrolling the web pages inside the help window. Two finger pinching scales the web pages.

Since the graph view is displayed permanently, the "Help" button has been removed from the calculator area. The axes limits dialog (activated by the "Set" button) appears in a small pop-over in the lower right corner:

and, unlike it's iPhone version, it has two new buttons "Apply" and "Cancel". Table of saved formulas is also displayed in a pop-over:

This popover can be dismissed by tapping once on the screen outside it.
