-Reintegration of ex-migrants in the Republic of Armenia (August, 2016)

Exploratory research to assess whether ex-migrants from Russian Federation face difficulties to reintegrate into their communities in the Republic of Armenia

-Behavioral Science & Environmental Education (August, 2017- June, 2018)

I helped a team of environmental education experts in the Republic of Armenia to introduce Behavioral Science components into an Environmental Education program.

-Establishment of Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab (August, 2017- September, 2018)

I consulted UNDP and the Government of the Republic of Armenia to establish Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab and craft its service lines. I also wrote the Behavioral Science road-map of the Lab (i.e., guidance for applying Behavioral Science in policy-making in the Republic of Armenia as well as a list of potential projects that can be implemented by the Government). I also participated in drafting the Data Analytics road-map of the Lab (i.e., guidance for applying machine learning and artificial intelligence in policy-making in the Republic of Armenia).

-Behavioral Science Consultant for Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab (September, 2018- May, 2021)

I consulted UNDP and the Armenian Government to run policy-relevant randomized controlled trials in the Republic of Armenia. Following RCTs have been implemented:

  • Health: increasing the participation rate in a national cervical cancer screening program applying behavioral science tools;

  • Tax: increasing tax compliance of small businesses applying behavioral science tools;

  • Pro-environmental behavior: testing various behavioral and non-behavioral interventions to curb the demand for single-use plastic bags;

  • Education: increasing the demand for STEM

  • Small-scale experiments based on stakeholder requests.

-Behavioral Insights Consultant for UNDP in Mongolia (October, 2019-February, 2020)

I consulted UNDP in Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar City to introduce behavioral insights in the so called Activation Center, which is meant to work with the youth to increase their income generation possibilities
