Hello!   David and Lynn welcome you to their online home of  'Are You Dancing'.

We are a Dance School based in Dalbeattie first started in 2009 .  We have two evenings set aside for teaching Sequence, Ballroom and Latin dances at the moment.  If you would like to learn to dance please keep reading or just get in touch at dandlwalker2021@gmail.com or phone  01556 611036 or 0776 2823832

After some years of building up our classes we were invited to be Sequence Dance Specialists on a 'Strictly' themed Dance cruise working with the BBC on the P&O ship Ventura in July 2013.  The cruise was very successful and we then went on to accept a further7 contracts for each of the following three years with P&O where we taught dance classes each sea day as well as hosting evening dances. We have been lucky to have been the dance instructors on four 'Strictly' cruises to date and have travelled as far afield as Barbados, Iceland, Genoa, Rome, Olympia, Santorini, New York, Quebec, Istanbul, Saint Petersburg and many more fantastic places. We continue to accept contracts from P&O.

7.00pm to 7.30pm: Basic Ballroom and Latin steps building up routines.

7.30pm to 9.00pm: Next Steps: More up-to-date Sequence dances,  technique development with some new Ballroom and Latin Routines.

Fridays 7.00pm to 9.30pm

Social Dancing - Tea Dance / Cruise favourites / Requested Favourite dances

Prices from January 2023: 

Tuesday Sessions - £7 per person

Friday Sessions - £7.50 per person.
