Occasionally, we have older puppies or retiring adults available. They may be puppies bred by us who needed to return to us due to unforeseen situations: someone in the family developing severe allergies, unexpected change in family circumstances, or similar situations. We sometimes retire our breeding dogs into companion homes so they can be pampered with more one-on-one attention in their well-deserved retirements. On occasion, we may have a dog available who, despite having many amazing qualities, did not quite make the stringent requirements of our breeding program. These dogs make amazing pets, because they are the "cream of the crop" except for that one minor flaw that kept them from being bred.
