Mission
PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
The Council provides a forum for the local units to work together to support the mission and vision of PTA by sharing best practices, developing ideas, collaborating on events, and making connections and contacts.
Programs
Council also coordinates two National PTA programs at our district level each year: The Reflections art recognition program and Founders' Day awards.
Through a cooperative effort of all the units and members, each year the Council awards scholarships to students at Allen Park High School and Community School. The Holiday Fever and Spring Fever craft and vendor shows, 50/50 Raffle silent auction, and bake sales are the major fundraisers for the scholarship fund.
