Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) has a wide range of prestigious scholarships available to assist postgraduate researchers. These scholarships range from annual stipends, living allowances and tuition fee costs, to travel scholarships and supplement. I am looking for highly motivated, perseverance and dedicated students of exceptional research potential to do their PhD or master under supervision of me. You will be eligible to apply to UTP via the regular graduate admission process.

A Graduate Local Assistantship (GLA), Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) and Tuition Fees Assistantship (TFA) are available for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) student, and Master of science in Chemical Engineering (MSc) student. Candidates with a strong academic record are highly encourage to apply. Experience in photocatalysts, hydrogen storage, and solar energy application is essential, knowledge of physical chemistry and electrochemistry is preferred.

Duration

PhD: 3 years full-time, 6 years part-time. MSc by Research: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time

Allowance: RM1300/month (MSc) and RM1600/month (PhD) for GLA & GA.

Rm 1800/month (MSc) and Rm 2300/month (PhD) for GRA.

Rm 5000/month + other benefits (PhD) for Yayasan Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Start date: Research degrees can start at any time by agreement with the supervisor
