We (probably) begin today with a student presentation on a topic from the review week. Next up is first an overview of the calendar and then further discussion of the LinkedList Project, which you should be finishing up if you haven't already. The new Ethics Project will be introduced toward the end of the period.

A presentation last week prompted us to wonder what the requirements, language requirements in particular, are for a Computer Science degree. The Major Requirements, Major Degree Requirement Checklist, and Course Descriptions from the University of Arizona are all online, of course. See if you can find something interesting. Remember that not all Computer Science courses are reserved for majors and that programming is also practiced in MIS (Management Information Systems), ECE (Electrical and Computer Engineering), and Linguistics departments, just to name a few. On the other hand, a university is not required at all. Many people have taught themselves how to program and practice Computer Science. The essential tools are at your fingertips.
