DONATING A PARROT OR SMALL BIRD TO US

We are so sorry you need to find a new home for your parrot or small bird.  We are a a nonprofit parrot rescue and re-homing organization, a safe haven for parrots looking for a permanent home.  Our "job" is to locate a good home for any pet bird turned over to us.  Note: A-Parrot Rescue does not rehome or take in farm birds or non-tropical birds. We do not chase loose birds up in the trees for you.  All birds for rehoming must be dropped off with us in Brecksville, OH.  A private home.

A-Parrot Rescue is not soliciting for parrots for our personal ownership, we cannot purchase your parrot, and we cannot start the "rehoming process" until birds are signed over to us.   Our adoption contacts are confidential.  

If you want to sell your bird or bird supplies, you will need to put an ad somewhere.  It must be your FINAL DECISION to drop off your parrot here for rehoming.  Once the rehoming process has started, your bird will not be returned back to you. 

We do not pet sit birds.  A daily holding fee will be charged if there is an issue about returning your parrot to you.  Adopted-out birds are impossible to return.

Our "job" is to rehome unwanted parrots left in our care.   We take in budgies and finches also.  A-Parrot Rescue has an investigative process in effect in order to locate a good safe home for all birds left with us.   We try our best to find a good match/home for all birds left in our care.  We have been interviewing bird adopters for bird placement for many years.
