Advantages of Anyoon Rotary Engine

1) Constant volume heat addition can be implemented without any mechanical complexity. Constant volume heat addition will increase 50% of actual efficiency from 30% to 45%. (15%of total fuel energy).

2) Atkinson cycle can be implemented without any mechanical complexity. Atkinson cycle alone will increase 30% of actual efficiency from 30% to 39%. (9% of total fuel energy).

3) Water injection inside combustion chambers to cool engine is possible because of Constant volume heat addition (faster combustion). This will reduce 50%. (15% of total fuel energy).of cooling loss and 50% of exhaust loss. (11% of total fuel energy because 9% is reduced by Atkinson Cycle). Water injection can extend efficiency of Otto cycle beyond its theoretical limit because it reduces exhaust temperature.

4) Higher initial torque in each power stroke results in faster conversion of thermal energy into mechanical energy. This also increases the maximum rpm. This high torque impulse provides higher acceleration in every rpm even at low rpm. Thus new engine can compete against

traction electric motors in terms of high torque at lower rpm. This High torque assures better drivability especially in city driving.

5) Since Anyoon Rotary engine is rotary in type; less vibration, less inertial losses and less maintenance results.

6) Anyoon Rotary engine is more compact, light and has higher power to weight ratio.

7) Anyoon Rotary engine has fewer moving parts; no piston, no crankshaft, no connecting rod, no camshaft no timing chain etc.

8) There are 2 suction strokes per revolution; this results in smoother and less noisy operation.

9) Separate regions for exhaust and intake results in less residual gases in intake charge.

10) In reciprocating engines piston is moved against sealed air in the crank case, this causes heating up of air inside the crank case. But in Anyoon Rotary engine it is not so.

11) Anyoon Rotary engine is cheaper and simpler to manufacture because of less parts.
