My research primarily explores the theory and practical applications of Machine Learning (ML) and Computational Intelligence techniques. I delve into various application fields, including data mining in Astrophysics and Genetics. Recently, my focus has shifted towards advancing Environmental and Ecological domains through the integration of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) methodologies. I have been appointed as Scientific Responsible for the Neptun-IA laboratory at the Department of Sciences and Technologies, University of Naples Parthenope. Neptun-IA is an interdisciplinary laboratory that serves as a convergence point for Artificial Intelligence and maritime-related study domains.
