Welcome
I am a Tenured Assistant Professor of Economics at CUNEF Universidad in Madrid. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute, where I was supervised by Andrea Mattozzi and David Levine.
I conduct research in applied economics, combining both theory and empirics, with a particular focus on political economy. My work has been published in leading journals, including The Economic Journal, The Journal of Public Economics, The European Economic Review, and The European Journal of Political Research. I am the principal investigator of the EDUCARE project, funded by the Fundació La Caixa Social Research Call, which explores the broad impacts of early childhood education for children aged 0-2.
Additionally, I co-organize the Madrid Political Economy Workshop (MAPE).
