  • Xmodmap Linux keymap for US windows keyboard: maps the Windows and Menu keys to something useful.

  • ansi-codes.el Elisp package for Emacs. An enhanced version of A. Schroeder's package ansi-color.el.

  • A set of LaTeX files to easily produce several versions of the same talk (e.g. the main presentation and the handouts). The idea is that for each presentation you modify only the files main.tex and mycommands.sty, and then compile fornasiero.tex to get the presentation (of course, you should rename the file fornasiero.tex to yoursurname.tex) and handouts_with_notes.tex to get the handouts. It uses the Beamer package. The file readme.txt contains the detailed description and instructions. Many of the talks on my webpage are done with it.

  • An Italian keyboard for Windows with added special characters

The keyboard provides the ~ and ` characters: for instance,

for ~ type alt-gr ù

(that's u with an accent)

for ` type alt-gr '

Moreover, there are other additional characters that may be useful: for instance,

to get ä (a with diaeresis/umlaut), type alt-gr a

to get À (A with grave accent), type alt-gr shift a

To install the keyboard, copy the directory somewhere on your hard-disk and run setup.exe

Then use the Windows settings menu to change the keyboard to Italiano - Diaeresis

Finally, test it. All the keys should work as in the usual Italian keyboard, plus some combinations with alt-gr will give new characters.

The only exception is the Euro sign under E, which has been replaced with ë (notice that you can still get € by typing Alt-gr 5).

The keyboard was created using the Keyboard Layout Creator (by Microsoft)
